Aron’s Pharmacy is an independent, community-focused pharmacy in Monroe, Louisiana with over 80 years of service to the region. We are a relationship-driven, patient-first pharmacy and part of a growing local group that also includes wellness and clinical services. We’re looking for a Pharmacist-in-Charge who wants to do meaningful work close to patients — not just fill scripts, but help lead a community pharmacy into its next chapter. The Role
As Pharmacist-in-Charge, you’ll be the licensed leader of our pharmacy operation — responsible for safe, accurate dispensing, patient care, regulatory compliance, and day-to-day leadership of the pharmacy team. This is a hands-on role for a pharmacist who takes ownership, builds trust with patients, and cares about running a tight, well-managed pharmacy.
What You’ll Do
- Serve as Pharmacist-in-Charge of record, ensuring compliance with all Louisiana Board of Pharmacy regulations and applicable law.
- Oversee accurate dispensing, clinical review, and patient counseling.
- Lead, schedule, and support pharmacy technicians and support staff.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with patients and prescribers in the community.
- Support medication therapy management, immunizations, and adherence/med-sync programs.
- Help maintain inventory, purchasing discipline, and pharmacy workflow efficiency.
- Partner with ownership on growth opportunities (wellness, compounding, and clinical services).
What We’re Looking For
- Active Louisiana pharmacist license in good standing
- Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or equivalent.
- PIC experience preferred; strong candidates without prior PIC experience considered.
- A patient-first, relationship-driven approach to community pharmacy.
- Comfort with the business side of independent pharmacy — a plus we genuinely value.
- Reliable, organized, and ready to take ownership of the pharmacy’s success.

This role is ideal for a pharmacist with an entrepreneurial mindset — someone who has owned a pharmacy, is looking to own one, or wants to grow into ownership over time. For the right candidate, we are open to discussing a path toward partnership or equity in the pharmacy as the business grows. Compensation & Schedule
- Pay: Starting at $65.00/hour (full-time salary equivalent ~$135,200/year), negotiable for the right experience.
- Paid time off: Two (2) weeks paid time off.
- Health insurance: Not employer-sponsored; participation in a group plan may be available at the employee’s own cost where permitted.
- Schedule: Full-time, day shift, Monday–Friday. The pharmacy is closed on weekends.
