What are the responsibilities and job description for the Youth Justice Professional position at Monroe Personnel Services?
JOB REQUIREMENTS: Are you passionate about empowering youth and creating
opportunities for positive change? If so, the Monroe County Dept. of
Human Services Children and Family Services Unit might have the job for
you. We are looking for a full-time Youth Justice Professional. Our
Youth Justice Professional completes strength-based assessments and
collaborates with families, schools, law enforcement and other community
partners. A Youth Justice Professional will develop individual case
plans, advocate for and educate youth referred to Human Services. This
position will work to reduce recidivism through evidence-based
approaches. A good candidate for this position should be comfortable
working with multiple partners, appearing in court and have strong
verbal and written communication skills. Working to engage the family so
they can support their youth is a very important part of this position.
