JOB REQUIREMENTS: Do you have experience operating motorized equipment
and enjoy being outside? If so, the Monroe County Highway Department
might have the job for you! We are hiring full-time Operations
Assistants. Our Operations Assistant operates motorized equipment in the
maintenance, repair and construction of highways and rights-of-ways.
\*\*\*\*\* OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: Successful candidates
will have the ability to operate dump trucks, tractor mowers, hand-held
power equipment, etc., under varying climatic conditions and must be
able to follow oral and written instructions. Candidates with an
equivalent combination of education and experience from which comparable
knowledge and abilities can be acquired will also be considered.
Wisconsin Commercial Driver\'s License, minimum Class B at time of
application, is preferred or must be obtained within six months of hire.
