Responsibilities
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance services such as oil changes, tire rotations, alignments, and brake inspections with efficiency and precision
- Conduct automotive diagnostics to identify issues accurately and recommend appropriate repairs or maintenance solutions
- Utilize hand tools and power tools to execute repairs, replacements, and adjustments on various vehicle systems
- Assist with vehicle inspections to ensure mechanical safety standards are met before returning vehicles to customers
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining services performed, addressing questions, and ensuring a positive experience
- Support the team with heavy lifting and physical tasks necessary for vehicle servicing and maintenance
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times
Requirements
- Previous dealership or automotive repair experience is highly preferred
- Proven mechanic experience with strong automotive diagnostics skills
- Mechanical knowledge of vehicle systems including engines, brakes, suspension, and electrical components
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and automotive service equipment
- Experience performing oil changes, tire service, alignments, and general maintenance tasks
- Customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
- Ability to lift heavy objects safely and perform physically demanding tasks regularly
- Valid automotive service technician certification or relevant training is a plus
- Strong work ethic with attention to detail and a desire to learn and grow within the automotive industry
