Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Private Piano Instructor to join our team! Teaching multiple instruments is a plus (and gets you more students!) Other instruments not listed will be under consideration. The ideal candidate will have a background in music and ideally experience educating children and/or adults. This role involves educating students in various musical concepts, fostering a love for music, and developing engaging curricula that cater to the diverse needs of all learners.
Duties
- Develop and implement a comprehensive music curriculum that aligns with educational standards and promotes creativity.
- Educate students on fundamental music concepts, including rhythm, melody, and harmony.
- Facilitate engaging lessons that incorporate various musical styles and instruments.
- Utilize classroom management techniques to maintain a positive learning environment.
- Provide individualized support and tutoring to students as needed to enhance their understanding of music.
- Organize performances and showcase events to encourage student participation in theater and ballet.
- Collaborate with other educators to integrate music into broader educational initiatives.
- Assess student progress and adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of all learners.
Qualifications
- Strong background in music.
