We have an immediate need for a full-time Corporate Legal Administrative Assistant with a minimum of 5 years of corporate transactional experience . The successful candidate is smart, proactive, comfortable with technology, familiar with the legal and law firm environment, and possesses strong interpersonal skills and attention to detail. Additionally, they are eager to learn and grow, and to take on Paralegal responsibilities.
Essential Job Duties :
- Prepare legal documents and correspondence;
- Ensure legal team is prepared with necessary materials for meetings;
- Manage and maintain multiple calendars and schedules;
- Review electronic and paper mail;
- Maintain files both in hard-copy and in the firm’s document management system;
- General administrative tasks including copying, scanning, processing timesheets and expense reports;
- May participate in entity formation work.
Education and Experience
5 years of law related experience. Bachelor’s degree preferred; however, an associate’s degree and related experience will also be considered.
Corporate Legal Assisting experience required.
