Must hold, or be eligible for, Oregon teaching certificate with Spanish endorsement.
Courses may include beginning to advanced Spanish.
Posted salary is based on the current 2024-25 collective bargaining agreement (CBA).
The District also offers $1,500 per month insurance benefit (based on 24-25 CBA), and the District pays the employee portion of the PERS contribution. District accepts up to 7 years teaching experience.
Monroe, Oregon is a community of 680 with approximately 2,500 people in the surrounding area. The school is a hub in an area of agriculture including forestry, the wine industry, grass seed, mint, Christmas trees and vegetable seed crops. We also have a number of residents who commute to Corvallis and Eugene. The city of Monroe is nestled against the first foothills of the Coast Range mountains, facing the Willamette Valley. Highway 99 West connects Monroe to the city of Corvallis, (home of Oregon State University) 17 miles to the north, and the city of Eugene (home of University of Oregon) 23 miles to the south.
