Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented warehouse worker to join our team. The position is responsible for inventory organization and management, assembly of product and staging jobs, upkeep cleanliness and organization of warehouse. This role requires a strong understanding of warehouse management systems and safety protocols to ensure smooth operations and accurate order fulfillment.
Duties include but not limited to
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments using forklifts, and pallet jacks.
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for installation and service jobs
- Organization of inventory and assisting in accurate stock counting and data entry
- Operation of forklift, and mechanical tools following OSHA safety standards. Forklift certification is helpful but not required for hiring.
- Stock shelves and organize warehouse space to optimize storage capacity and accessibility
- Assist with shipping & receiving activities, ensuring timely dispatch of goods
- Maintain a clean, safe work environment by adhering to safety regulations
- Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to improve workflow efficiency and inventory accuracy
Experience
- Prior experience in warehouse distribution, or manufacturing preferred
- Hands-on experience operating heavy equipment including forklifts and pallet jacks
- Knowledge of inventory management, stock control, order picking & packing, shipping & receiving processes
- Understanding of OSHA safety standards related to heavy equipment operation and materials handling
- Mechanical knowledge beneficial for product assembly
- Previous warehouse experience or roles involving warehouse management system oversight is helpful but not required
