What are the responsibilities and job description for the Youth Care Worker position at Monroe County Shelter Care Inc?
Monroe County Shelter Care Inc. is a non-profit organization that has been serving Monroe County for over 50 years. Right now, we are looking for full-time and part-time employees for our 8-bed co-ed home for youth ages 10-17. We are staffed 24 hours a day. 7 days a week. Our group home provides supervision, stability, and life skills for our at-risk youth in the community.
Job Overview:
Provide direct supervision of youth in the home. Follow established policies and procedures in the home. Ensure the safety of the residents. Follow each resident's established treatment plan. Ensure clear communication with other staff, parents, and collateral persons.
Qualifications:
High school diploma, valid driver’s license, 21 and older, and must be able to pass a background check. Experience is preferred but not necessary. We will be happy to train the right person for the job.
