Monroe County PA is seeking an adept Probation Secretary for our Probation Office. This position reports to the Department Chief and will be responsible for preparing and typing various legal documents; processing case files, petitions, and perform administrative and clerical support directly related to the Monroe County legal system. This Probation Secretary position offers the opportunity to contribute to the promotion of community safety and guiding individuals towards position life choices within Monroe County, PA.
Minimum qualifications for the position are as follows:
- Must possess a high school diploma or GED
- Must possess one (1) year previous experience and/or training involving criminal justice, legal, secretarial and/or general administrative expertise; or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience which provides the knowledge and skills for this position
