Position: Middle School Sideline Cheerleading Coach

Location: Mason Middle School

Reports to: High School Athletic Director

Salary: $1464.64 - $1733.32 for both seasons (Fall and Winter)

Available: 2026-2027 School Year

Summary: To cultivate an athletic program that instills into every student
athlete hard work, discipline and integrity, while fostering traditions

and community support.

Responsibilities:

• Establish fair evaluation process for team selection and conduct tryouts.

• Schedule and conduct adequate practices.

• Develop sideline routines and perform at home athletic events.

• Distribute and collect all uniforms and equipment and can account for program inventory.

• Develop a communication procedure for parents and student athletes.

• Works with athletic trainer and adheres to an injury prevention program.

• Create fair and effective team rules.

• Be aware of and follow all Mason Consolidated Schools policies.

Qualifications:

• Previous cheer coaching experience preferred.

• The Mason consolidated School District contracts with a third party, EDUStaff, to provide

coaches. All chosen candidates must comply with the hiring procedures required by

EDUStaff.

Criminal History: All Employees and contracted employees are fingerprinted for a
Michigan and FBI criminal history check. The processing fee is the
