Location: Rochester, NY Category: Faculty Posted On: Thu Mar 19 2026 Job Description:The English and Philosophy department seeks applicants for a full-time, tenure-track teaching position in Philosophy, beginning August 25, 2026.Examples of Duties & Responsibilities:
- Teaches introductory-level philosophy courses that address the fundamentals of the discipline, as well as courses in world religions or professional ethics.
- Teaches a full-time load of five (5) courses per semester.
- Develops course materials for classroom teaching and for online courses as needed.
- Serves on department, division, and College committees, and fulfills other duties as assigned.
