Maintenance Technician (Residential Property)

Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in facilities maintenance, with the ability to fabricate and maintain various systems. This role requires mechanical and electrical knowledge, as well as the capability to supervise and lead maintenance projects effectively. The Maintenance Technician will play a crucial role in ensuring that all equipment and facilities are functioning optimally.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on mechanical and electrical systems.
• Fabricate components as needed to support facility operations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with logic controllers and other automated systems.
• Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify maintenance needs.
• Oversee and supervise maintenance staff, providing leadership and guidance.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment.
• Assist in residential painting projects as required.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs performed.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in facilities maintenance.
• Proficient in electrical systems troubleshooting and repair.
• Familiarity with logic controllers is preferred.
• Excellent leadership skills with prior experience supervising teams.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Experience in residential painting is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
