Responsibilities
- Provide attentive care to infants and toddlers, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being throughout the day
- Assist in implementing age-appropriate activities that promote physical, cognitive, and social development
- Support classroom management by maintaining organized routines and fostering positive behavior among children
- Collaborate with lead teachers to monitor developmental milestones and document progress
- Maintain a clean, safe, and inviting classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning
- Follow all health and safety protocols, including first aid procedures when necessary
- Communicate effectively with parents and team members to share updates on children's progress and needs
Qualifications
- Prior experience working with young children in daycare, preschool, or caregiving settings is preferred, but not required.
- Must pass background check
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and families
- Ability to work full-time hours in a fast-paced environment while maintaining energy and enthusiasm for childcare duties, which require mobility to get up and down from the floor and to lift up to 40 lbs.
