LOCATION OF POSITION: Fairport NY 14450; Various Locations
TERM OF EMPLOYMENT: July 9, 2026 August 19, 2026; Plus, pre and post summer requirements as needed (specific dates dependent on location).
Mandatory Summer Set-Up Meetings
June 2nd = Transition/Employment
June 3rd = O'Connor Academy, eStart, Creekside (BPA Unit TES Staff)
June 10th = Creekside (BUP Unit), Bird/Morgan
SALARY RANGE: $21.50 per hour or your 2026-27 rate in this title for current Monroe One Boces staff

- Actual Salary Is Dependent Upon Education, Experience and Contract.
- Act as language model and provide some receptive and expressive interpreting in the classroom and special events during the school day.
- Work one on one to assist special education/related services student to develop the necessary skills to successfully participate in the mainstream.
- Coordinate with teacher and other education team members toward program goals.
- Facilitate spoken and signed communication between student and staff.
- Participate in in-servicing faculty and students as necessary.
- High School graduate; Associate degree preferred.
- Intermediate to advanced sign language skills.
- Basic interpreting skills.
- Therapeutic Crisis Intervention (TCI) training required.
- Experience in support service programs with deaf/hearing impaired or special education programs preferred.
- Must be available for all days of the assignment.
- Attend a mandatory planning meeting on a date to be determined.
- Physically able to perform essential functions of the position (with or without reasonable accommodation).
