We’re looking for a detail-driven Controller to oversee accounting and financial operations for a growing multi-unit restaurant group. This is a remote role supporting locations across the NYC Metro area — ideal for a finance professional who thrives in a fast-moving hospitality environment.
What You’ll Do
- Manage full-cycle accounting, month-end close, and financial reporting.
- Ensure accuracy and compliance with GAAP and internal controls.
- Oversee budgets, forecasts, cash flow, and cost control across multiple locations.
- Lead and mentor accounting staff while partnering closely with operations.
- Implement process improvements and maintain systems like Restaurant365 and Excel.
- Prepare P&L reports and analyze performance for management.
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred).
- 5 years of accounting or controller experience, ideally in restaurant, hospitality, or multi-unit retail.
- Expertise in Restaurant365, QuickBooks, or similar accounting software.
- Strong understanding of financial reporting, reconciliations, and GAAP standards.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Organized, analytical, and able to manage multiple priorities remotely.
