Transportation Manager

Description

We are seeking a seasoned Transportation Manager to lead our global transportation strategy, manage logistics operations, and ensure compliance with international trade regulations. This role will lead a team coordinating the smooth, efficient and economical movement of raw materials and finished goods from suppliers, between facilities and to final customers.  Selects appropriate delivery methods to minimize costs and maximize customer satisfaction. Collaborates cross functionally with planning, customer service and operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee domestic and international transportation activities across multiple modes (air, ocean, ground).
• Manage carrier relationships and negotiate contracts to optimize service, cost, and performance.
• Ensure compliance with Incoterms, global trade regulations, and customs documentation requirements.
• Lead the implementation and ongoing optimization of our Transportation Management Systems (TMS).
• Collaborate with supply chain, procurement, warehousing, and customer service teams to improve delivery performance.
• Analyze transportation data to identify trends, opportunities, and KPIs for continuous improvement.
• Supervise and develop a high-performing logistics team with a focus on leadership, accountability, and results.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, International Business, or related field.
• 5 years of experience in transportation or logistics management with global scope.
• Strong working knowledge of Incoterms, global trade compliance, and cross-border shipping.
• Proficient in TMS platforms (e.g., Oracle, SAP TM, MercuryGate, or similar).
• APICS certification (CPIM, CSCP, or CLTD) strongly preferred.
• Proven leadership skills with experience managing teams and cross-functional initiatives.
• Exceptional communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple stakeholders and time zones.

• The compensation range that is described below is the possible base pay compensation that the company believes in good faith that it will pay for this role at the time of posting based on job grade for the position. Individual compensation within this range is based on many factors such as years of experience etc. so the company might pay more or less than the posted range and it is understood that this range may be modified in the future.
• In addition to base compensation, MonoSol provides a yearly incentive compensation bonus, a profit sharing bonus when eligible, a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision insurances, short term disability, long term disability, accidental death and dismemberment, term life insurance, voluntary term life insurance, transit flexible spending account (if applicable), employee assistance program, identity theft protection, 401k and paid time off (vacation and sick days).

Compensation range - $86,907.87 - $146,142.27

Incentive Compensation Bonus Target – 10%

Paid time off amount – 15 days
