What are the responsibilities and job description for the Production Associate - LaPorte position at MONOSOL LLC?
The Production Associate will work as part of our production line team to produce a quality product at the quantity instructed by management. This position will assist in meeting or exceeding production goals on a consistent basis.
Primary Responsibilities
- Loading and unloading items from machines
- Examining products to ensure conformance to quality standards
- Observing equipment operations so that any malfunctions are reported to management
- Wearing all Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times in the work area
- Performing general cleanup and maintenance of work area
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Math and reasoning skills as well as proven problem solving skills
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and tolerate heat during summer months
- Effective communication skills including the ability to create and maintain productive working relationships
- Ability to work rotating 12 hour shifts (4 days on, 4 days off)
