Responsibilities
Develop, implement, and oversee community outreach programs that align with organizational goals. A special focus will be our Drug Endangered Children's Program
Manage volunteer recruitment, training, supervision, and recognition efforts to build a committed volunteer network
Serve as a confident public speaker at community events, workshops, and informational sessions to promote programs and services
Coordinate data collection activities, ensuring accurate tracking of assessments, and program outcomes
Utilize social media platforms and marketing strategies to increase community awareness and participation
Develop and distribute MCCAC's monthly email newsletter
Assist with legislative-related communication and advocacy efforts
Maintain detailed records of outreach activities, volunteer participation, donor information, and data reports for evaluation purposes
Assist with grant writing, tracking and reporting
Assist with the planning and execution of fundraising events and campaigns
Assist with administrative tasks as needed
Qualifications
Strong public speaking skills with the ability to effectively communicate complex information to diverse audiences
Bachelor's Degree in public health, marketing, public relations, psychology, social work or similar fields
Experience in fundraising or grant writing is a plus but not required
Excellent administrative skills with attention to detail in record keeping and reporting
Excellent written and organizational skills
Pay: From $17.00 per hour
