Monona is looking for a talented and experienced Plumbing Professional dedicated to quality, service, and safety to lead and manage all facets of day-to-day operations for our Plumbing Contract Department.
Job Summary
The Plumbing Department Manager is responsible for the day-to-day leadership and management of the Plumbing Contract department and team including estimating, project management, design, fabrication, field operations, and business development. The Department Manager has full profit and loss management responsibility and accountability. This position serves as part of the companys leadership team.
Your primary focus will be on providing leadership for the Plumbing Contract department. You will identify opportunities and needed changes for the Plumbing Department and build operational plans to achieve revenue and profitability objectives to create stability and growth.
Job Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in construction management or engineering
- 10 years of experience in the construction industry to include mechanical and/or general contracting of commercial construction projects
- 10 years of experience with estimating and project management of medium to large scale commercial plumbing projects
- Strong knowledge of commercial plumbing
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively lead and manage a team
- Strong business and financial acumen
- Proven ability to understand and drive profit and loss
- Ability to build and maintain strong, trusting customer relationships
