The Production Worker I is assigned to one of the following production areas: The production of beef jerky, jerky sticks, and sausages, which can include assignments and/or tasks on either the stuffing lines, slicing lines, wire/rack wash areas; or the packaging of products which may include pocket filling/stuffing, separating/cutting products, and packaging/boxing of products. This role is assigned to our 2nd shift, with a programmed schedule of 4:00pm - 1:00am.

This role is assigned to our 2nd shift, with a programmed schedule of 4:00pm - 1:00am.
General Duties
- Stuffing Line:
- Hanging of products on smokehouse carts.
- Tying sausages.
- Transport carts to staging areas.
- Slicing Line:
- Arrange product on wire racks.
- Place wire racks on smokehouse carts.
- Transport carts to staging areas.
- Wire/Rack Washing:
- Clean/Sanitize wire racks and carts as they return to the Raw Department
- Packaging Lines:
- Stuffing/filling of product on production lines.
- Double check product dates for accuracy.
- Set up displays, package finished products or tear down.
- Rotation in assigned areas as required.
- Assist in training new team members.
- Other duties as assigned.
- The production areas have moderate to loud noise levels.
- Production areas are temperature controlled, which may include cold or hot environments.
- You may be required to work overtime, which may include Saturdays or the possibility of working in another department as needed.
- Ability to work within temperature-controlled environments (Heat/Cold)
- Walk on slippery wet surfaces.
- Hand/eye coordination.
- Handling (holding, grasping).
- Seeing/depth perception.
- Walk/stand 100% of shift.
- Occasionally required to reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, or crouch.
- Occasionally required to reach at/or above shoulder level.
- Occasionally lift and/or carry loads of up to 50 lbs.
- Repetitive motions and movements throughout the scheduled shift.

- Must be 18 years or older.
- Ability to understand and communicate effectively.
- Be knowledgeable of and follow the safety procedures and policies as outlined by Monogram Foods.
- Able to complete Quality, Safety training
- Able to work at a fast pace, repetitive and work environment
- Ability to work in a team environment and a diverse workforce.
- Must be flexible and able to work overtime and weekends as needed.
- Production, manufacturing, or warehouse experience preferred.
