What are the responsibilities and job description for the Speech Language Pathologist position at Monmouth Speech & Cognition?
We’re looking for a compassionate, motivated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team! In this role, you’ll assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and cognitive-communication disorders in both children and adults—helping individuals build confidence and improve their quality of life.
This is a hybrid position, primarily in-office, with some opportunities for virtual, at-home, and in-daycare sessions. This role also has the potential to grow into a full-time position over time.

Schedule (tentative): ~15–25 hours/week
- 3 days of evening availability morning/afternoon availability
What You’ll Do:
- Conduct evaluations and create individualized treatment plans
- Provide evidence-based therapy to pediatric and adult clients
- Collaborate with families, teachers, and other professionals
- Track progress, update goals, and maintain documentation
- Educate families and caregivers to support carryover
What We’re Looking For:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active New Jersey license
- Experience with both pediatric and adult populations
- Experience in early intervention, adult rehab, or feeding/swallowing is a plus
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- A genuine passion for helping others and an awesome attitude!
