What are the responsibilities and job description for the 1099 Sales Rep position at Monmouth Millwork?
Outside Sales Rep | Millwork & Building Products | Uncapped Commission
Most reps chase random deals. The ones who build real, compounding books of business align with the right platform early — and this is that opportunity.
Monmouth Millwork is looking for a sales rep who wants to get paid for bringing in the right business, not just the most business.
Here's the setup: you find the right leads, build trust, and protect the opportunity. We handle the quoting and fulfillment — accurately, reliably, every time. You walk into every conversation with a real brand, an established showroom, and a team behind you that can actually deliver. No self-quoting, no guessing whether operations will come through, no fighting uphill for credibility.
What you'll own:
- Finding the right leads and building relationships with GCs, architects, and project owners
- Uncovering real project needs through smart discovery
- Protecting the opportunity and handing it off to our quoting and fulfillment team
- Becoming the rep clients call first because the job always gets done right
How you get paid:
- 20% of gross profit, paid on collected jobs
- No cap on earnings
- Example: a $100K project at 30% margin = $30K profit → $6,000 to you
This isn't a volume game. It's built to reward quality, accuracy, and long-term relationships — and it compounds. Territories are still open and relationships aren't locked up yet, which means early movers have real leverage here.
Who fits:
- Wants meaningful commission upside without a ceiling
- Knows how to build trust and values quality over pressure
- Understands that spec accuracy matters and wants a backend that can deliver
- Wants to be known as the rep who brings in the right business
If that sounds like you, let's have a quick, no-pressure 15-minute call to see if there's a fit.
