MONMOUTH COUNTY PARK SYSTEM
VOLUNTEER ASSISTANT STAFF
Seeking an energetic, dependable, individual who enjoys working with volunteers and the public. Candidate must have excellent customer service skills, strong communication and leadership skills and solid computer knowledge. Environmental or gardening experience helpful.
Responsibilities:
Provide customer service to potential and current volunteers. Assist with the volunteer database and help volunteers with questions they may have. Coordinate volunteer projects with Park System staff. Enjoy working with garden team volunteers at various Park System locations. Coordinate beach clean-ups at Park System beaches and parks. Assist with volunteer training. Assist with clerical projects as needed.
Hours: Part time, flexible hours. 18-28 hours per week.
Must have a valid NJ driver’s license. Monmouth County NJ residency preferred.
