CAMP COUNSELORS-OUTDOOR ADVENTURES
Turn your summer into an adventure and make a difference while you’re at it! We’re looking for energetic, responsible, and outdoor-loving individuals to join our Outdoor Adventures Camp Team.
As a Camp Counselor, you’ll work alongside a small team of staff to lead exciting, pre-planned outdoor activities for children ages 6–17. From exploring trails to paddling lakes, every day brings a new challenge and a new memory.
Activities may include:
Biking
Hiking
Canoeing & Kayaking
Archery
Rock Climbing
Overnight Camping
…and more!
Counselors play a vital role in creating a safe, supportive, and fun environment while serving as positive role models. You’ll help campers build confidence, independence, teamwork, and outdoor skills all while enjoying the great outdoors.
Position Details:
- Dates: June–August
- Hours: 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m., Monday–Friday (some overnights and weekends required)
- Pay: $16.10 per hour
- Location: Thompson Park, Lincroft
What We’re Looking For:
- Age 17 or older with a valid NJ driver’s license
- Availability to attend paid pre-camp training
- Comfortable and enthusiastic about working outdoors
- Able to work as part of a team with minimal supervision
- Interest in and/or experience with outdoor adventure activities
- Experience working with children is a plus—but not required!
