Boat Tour Operator at the Manasquan Reservoir, Howell
Join our team as a Boat Tour Operator at Monmouth County Park System's Manasquan Reservoir, where you will operate our 38' pontoon boat providing visitors with an engaging and memorable experience.
Responsibilities
- Safely setup and operate boats according to all safety regulations and procedures
- Enforce safety protocols and assist guests with safety equipment as needed
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing guest questions and ensuring a positive experience
- Maintain cleanliness and proper functioning of the boat before and after tours
- Other related duties as assigned
Requirements
- Must be 21 years or older.
- Must have a valid NJ Boating Safety Certificate and boat driver license endorsement upon hire.
- Boating experience preferred.
- Ability to work outdoors with physical stamina for boat operation tasks
- Leadership qualities to manage groups and assist team members effectively
- Excellent customer service skills to ensure guest satisfaction
Hours: Varied, beginning in April 2026
Days: Primarily weekdays
Pay: $16.10 per hour. Paid training provided.
