Role Overview

We’re looking for a detail-obsessed specialist to review AI-generated vehicle marketing assets for product accuracy, visual quality, and legal compliance before they reach clients. This role serves as a critical quality gate in our production workflow — combining sharp visual judgment with product understanding to ensure every asset is accurate, compliant, and production-ready.

  • This is not a traditional QA role — it requires strong visual judgment, attention to detail, and the ability to evaluate product accuracy at a granular level.

What You’ll Do

  • Asset Review & Quality Control
  • Review AI-generated vehicle images (and future video assets) against reference materials to ensure product accuracy (trim, badging, wheels, interiors, materials, proportions)
  • Identify visual defects caused by AI generation (e.g., distortions, missing elements, inconsistencies in vehicle or environment)
  • Flag issues related to legal and compliance guidelines using established review frameworks
  • Apply a high level of visual scrutiny — this role prioritizes precision over speed
  • Product Accuracy & Validation
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on vehicle configurations using provided reference materials
  • Distinguish between similar models and trim-level differences, and ensure correct representation across assets
  • Validate that the vehicle shown aligns with messaging (e.g., EV vs ICE, performance claims, feature callouts)
  • Identify inconsistencies between product, visuals, and claims early in the process
  • Issue Markup & Workflow Management
  • Annotate and document issues clearly using tools such as Photoshop or internal platforms
  • Provide structured, actionable feedback to the retouching/post-production team
  • Route assets for correction based on issue type and severity
  • Triage incoming outputs to ensure they meet minimum quality standards before entering post-production
  • Post-Retouch QA
  • Perform final quality checks on retouched assets to ensure all issues have been resolved
  • Confirm assets meet internal standards before delivery to clients
  • Cross-Team Collaboration
  • Act as a bridge between product, creative, and production teams by translating product details into clear, actionable guidance
  • Support asset development by advising on correct configurations, feature representation, and visual details
  • Partner with internal teams and stakeholders during review cycles to uphold product integrity
  • Continuous Improvement & Tooling
  • Provide feedback to product and engineering teams on recurring issues and gaps in AI output quality
  • Help refine review guidelines, workflows, and internal tools to improve efficiency and accuracy
  • Contribute to building scalable processes as asset volume grows and new formats (e.g., video) are introduced
  • Support the development and maintenance of product reference materials, checklists, and documentation

What We’re Looking For

  • Exceptional attention to detail — you can spot subtle visual inconsistencies, inaccuracies, and defects others would miss
  • Experience in creative production, post-production, or asset QA (ideally working with images or video in a fast-paced environment)
  • Strong visual judgment structured thinking — able to follow guidelines while making sound calls when things aren’t black-and-white
  • Clear, concise communicator — can document issues and provide actionable feedback to production teams
  • Comfort working in production workflows — able to balance quality with throughput and manage multiple assets at once

Nice-to-Have

  • Familiarity with automotive products, trims, or OEM brand standards
  • Experience reviewing assets for legal or compliance considerations
  • Exposure to AI-generated content and common failure patterns
  • Experience improving workflows, tools, or QA processes

How Success Is Measured

  • Ability to consistently catch visual and product-related defects before client delivery
  • Reduction in rework cycles and missed issues
  • Quality and clarity of feedback provided to production teams
  • Contribution to improving workflows, tools, and asset quality over time

Why This Role Matters

AI-generated content introduces new types of quality and compliance risks. This role ensures that every asset is not only visually polished, but also product-accurate and legally sound.

You will play a key role in bridging AI generation and production-quality output — and directly influence how the product evolves.
