Assistant Clinical Director / Speech Language Pathologist

Must have 4 years experience in pediatrics and supervision of students, Clinical Fellows, and/or SLPA as required.

As Assistant Clinical Director you will:

Management Duties:

• Supervision of SLPA and/or Clinical Fellows

• Support your Clinical Director by sharing management tasks.

• Act as Direct Report for designated team members.

• Participate in Interviews to ensure that your team is fully staffed.

• Participate in Marketing activities with the guidance of Community Affairs and Marketing Manager.

• Mentor therapists and assist with onboarding of new hires.

• Provide coaching to team members to achieve productivity standards.

• Foster sense of community by celebrating personal and company milestones.

• Respond to patient complaints if needed.

• Maintain company productivity standards. * Direct Patient Care, Paperwork, and Management Time will be determined based on clinic needs.

• Refer to Assistant Clinical Director Task List for a detailed list of expectations.

Clinical Duties:

• Conduct Initial Evaluations and Re-evaluations using formal and informal measures.

• Synthesize evaluation results to confirm or rule out appropriate diagnoses and formulate an Individualized Plan of Care.

• Perform Weekly Therapy Sessions using evidence-based practice.

• Provide Parent Education and Home Programming following each therapy session.

• Complete accurate documentation of evaluations and therapy sessions in a timely manner.

• Ensure a clean and safe treatment space.

• Collaborate with other team members to include Speech Therapists, Occupational Therapists, Audiology, and Administrative Staff.

• Refer to professionals outside our system when in the best interest of our patients and families.

• Attend Weekly Round Table Meetings and any additional meetings determined by your Director of Therapy Services or Company Owner.

• Pursue relevant Continuing Education to best serve our patient population.

• Abide by all company Policies & Procedures.

Administrative Duties:

• Actively communicate by email through Microsoft Outlook.

• Complete scheduling and documentation via Practice Perfect.

• Utilize Payroll System to report time worked and request time off.

• Submit Weekly Productivity Stats.

• Identify and review billing codes.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to lift at least 30lbs (ST).

• Must be able to read small print.

• Must be able to interact verbally with children, caregivers and the public.

• Must be able to type on a keyboard.
