Clinical Duties
As a Therapy Tech Intern you will:
- Observe Therapy Sessions.
- Prepare and set up for individual &/or group therapy sessions .
- Complete therapy driven projects.
- Assist with organizational projects .
- Ensure a clean and safe treatment space.
- Collaborate with other team members to include Speech Therapists, Occupational Therapists, Audiology, and Administrative Staff.
- Assume other projects and responsibilities as assigned by your Supervisor.
- Abide by all company Policies & Procedures.
- Actively communicate by email through Microsoft Outlook.
- Utilize Payroll System to report time worked.
- Use copy machine, fax, and laminator.
- Assist front desk with patient check-in, paperwork, scheduling and payment.
- Monitor and re-stock materials and supplies for therapy and day to day operations.
- Must be able to lift at least 30lbs.
- Must be able to read small print.
- Must be able to interact verbally with children, caregivers and the public.
- Must be able to type on a keyboard.
