The Marketing Assistant is responsible for supporting the various Monkey Mouths’ marketing needs by performing administrative tasks, coordinating marketing efforts and promotional activities. This position helps execute the overall marketing strategy by managing creative projects, maintaining marketing materials, and supporting internal and external communications.
The roles and responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to:
Social Media & Website Management
The Marketing Assistant is responsible for supporting the various Monkey Mouths’ marketing needs by performing administrative tasks, coordinating marketing efforts and promotional activities. This position helps execute the overall marketing strategy by managing creative projects, maintaining marketing materials, and supporting internal and external communications.
The roles and responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to:
Social Media & Website Management
- Consistently post 6 times per week on all Monkey Mouths social media sites.
- Weekly postings may include new staff (1 post for all new hires), individual job postings, clinic spotlights, team events, audiology, and a minimum of 1 additional post per week that is different from listed items
- Monthly postings may include: Monkeyversaries, staff spotlights, new programs, current special programs, and a minimum of 1 additional post per month that is different from listed items
- Monitor Monkey Mouths google reviews for all clinics and respond to positive reviews within 1 workday, response to negative reviews must be completed within 1 workday after discussion with Debi
- Increase average clinic Google reviews for each location by 50% by February 2026, pacing increases at 4% per month.
- Increase Facebook followers by 1.6% month over month to achieve a goal of 2,259 followers by February 2026
- Grow Instagram followers by 8% each month to achieve a goal of 2,500 followers by February 2026
- Maintain Monkey Mouths’ eLearning page and website to include adding therapist bios within 1 week of hire date and create updates on website with approval from Erin
- In the event of clinic openings or relocations, update Google My Business Website prior to the establishment opens or completes relocation
- Market new clinics a minimum of 5 times prior to opening
- Strictly adhere to HIPAA compliance with all print and digital materials and ensure photo/video releases are on file
- Accompany the Director of Community Outreach to marketing events to help promote our offices and set up/break down display
- Plan and coordinate the marketing of community and internal events
- Market events consistently 1-2 months prior to events, during events, and at least 2 days following events
- Initiate communications with ownership and all leadership personnel to inquire about upcoming events and associated details.
- Creates, formats, and edits professional correspondence with minimal oversight
- Proofread written and website materials to guarantee proper grammar and spelling for all posts and materials to eliminate all potential errors.
- Attend a minimum of 1 meeting each month with the Marketing Manager and Director of Community Outreach. The Marketing Assistant must:
- Present 3 upcoming marketing ideas
- Provide 3 scouting updates to discuss
- Present 20 new referral sources
- Report statistics including but not limited to: google review growth, Instagram growth, Facebook growth, newsletter engagement, etc..
- Respond to emails within 1 workday and provide email receipt acknowledgments as required for internal leadership communications
- Produce informative and engaging monthly company newsletters using content/topics provided
- Create quarterly newsletters for Monkey Mouths patient list
- Introduce at least 1 individual contribution each month to discuss with ownership and the Director of Community Outreach for inclusion in the following month’s newsletters
- Establish baselines for current newsletter readership and implement effective communications to increase readership numbers to report month-over-month engagement
- Initiate contact with 5 CDs or therapists per month to learn more about unique specialties within Monkey Mouths and add spotlights with oversight by Erin Bernett
- Ensure company branding is consistent across all platforms, printed and digital
- Assist leadership, therapists, and administrative personnel with branding of all created documents and presentations
- Assist Director of Community Outreach in finding new leads of referral sources, while keeping our databases updated with new accounts and the follow-ups on them
- Generate 20 new referral sources each month, identified by nearest clinic location and provide to the Director of Community Outreach
- Scout competitor trends on websites/social media and identify 3 noteworthy practices and/or designs to present and discuss each month for potential implementation
- Utilize the Referral Trend Report in Practice Perfect to develop a contact list that includes: Referral Coordinator’s name, phone number, email address and identify nearest Monkey Mouths’ clinic for each contact.
- Develop and maintain relationships and actively network with 5 community partners each week via email and postal mail
- Propose 1 marketing idea per month to engage community partners and/or referral sources
- Create goodies/swag bags, giveaways, baskets, or boxes with proper marketing materials
- Research costs for all marketing materials with a minimum of 3 vendors to identify the best pricing
- Ensure all marketing materials and giveaways stay within the established annual budget
- Oversee marketing material inventory levels and place order requests items with Debi or the Director of Community Outreach for credit card purchasing
- Produce and oversee the distribution of all marketing materials, collateral, and promotional items
- Must be able to travel up to 20% each month for all clinics
- Must be able to lift at least 30lbs.
- Must be able to read small print.
- Must be able to effectively communicate with all internal personnel as well as patients, families, referrals, etc.
- Must be able to type on a keyboard.
- Must be able to answer telephones.
- Must be able to sweep/mop and perform general cleaning duties.
