Job Summary We are seeking compassionate Caregivers to join our team, offering a unique opportunity to provide essential care and support to individuals in need. The ideal candidate will have experience in various care settings and a genuine desire to enhance the quality of life for those they assist. We have part-time and full-time positions available for days, overnights, and weekends. If part-time, caregivers must be willing to work every other weekend. The hourly starting rate varies and is based on experience and certifications. At this time, we prefer that day staff have a driver's license for transportation of residents.
Responsibilities may include but are not limited to
-Provide residents with assistance, as needed, for activities of daily living (ADLs)
-Provide companionship and emotional support to residents
-Administer medication and assist with medication management
-Help residents prepare nutritious meals
-Perform housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment for residents
-Escort residents to appointments or outings as needed
-Documentation as required
Skills
- Experience in a CBRF or AFH setting a plus, but will train
- Proficiency in providing direct support to individuals with diverse needs
- Familiarity with cooking nutritious meals for clients
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients and their care teams
