Position Summary
MongioviSon is seeking a hardworking, dependable Pipe Layer / Utility Laborer to join our growing excavation division. This position plays a key role in underground utility installation and site development projects. The ideal candidate is safety-focused, enjoys working outdoors, and takes pride in delivering quality work as part of a team.

Responsibilities
Install sanitary sewer systems, including:
Pipe installation (4" and larger)
Manholes
Flow lines
Repairs and testing
Install storm sewer systems, including:
Storm pipe
Manholes
Catch basins/inlets
End walls
Install water distribution systems, including:
Ductile iron and C-900 waterlines
Valves
Fire hydrants
Meter vaults
Fittings
Hydrostatic testing and line flushing
Install underground electrical conduit as required.
Perform site restoration, including grading, seeding, and strawing.
Complete asphalt and concrete restoration following utility installation.
Operate hand tools and small equipment, including jackhammers, tampers, and compactors.
Load, unload, organize, and transport materials and supplies.
Assist with maintaining a clean, organized, and safe job site, shop, and yard.
Help clean and perform basic maintenance on company equipment and vehicles.
Follow all company safety policies and OSHA requirements.
Qualifications
Previous experience in pipe laying, excavation, underground utilities, or heavy construction preferred.
Knowledge of sanitary sewer, storm sewer, and waterline installation is a plus.
Ability to read grade stakes, blueprints, or utility plans is beneficial.
Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting, digging, bending, and standing for extended periods.
Strong work ethic, reliability, and willingness to learn.
Team-oriented with a commitment to safety and quality.
Requirements
Valid driver's license preferred.
CDL A is a plus but not required.
