Role Description This full-time, on-site Automotive Mechanic role is based in Willoughby, OH. The Automotive Mechanic will perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repair on a variety of vehicles, with a focus on quality work being performed in a timely manner. Day-to-day tasks include inspecting vehicles, identifying mechanical and electrical issues, performing scheduled services, and ensuring all work meets safety and quality standards. The role also involves collaborating with the team on race car builds and custom projects, documenting work performed, and maintaining a clean, organized workspace. The Automotive Mechanic will interact with customers to explain recommended services, provide status updates, and support an excellent service experience.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Vehicle Maintenance, Maintenance & Repair, and Automotive service.
- Candidates should possess practical experience with Automotive Repair, including troubleshooting, diagnostics, and component replacement.
- Candidates should possess a commitment to Customer Satisfaction, with the ability to communicate clearly and build trust with clients.
- Ability to install and service aftermarket performance parts (suspension, brakes, exhaust, engine components) and follow manufacturer specifications.
- Familiarity with performance tuning concepts, motorsports, or race car preparation is highly beneficial.
- Ability to read and interpret service manuals, technical diagrams, and work orders; strong attention to detail and safety practices.
- Previous experience as an automotive technician/mechanic in a shop environment; relevant certifications (e.g., ASE) are a plus.
- Ability to lift and maneuver parts and equipment as required, and to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
Pay range of $17-$35 per clock hour based on experience level. Paid holidays. Vacation Time, Sick Time. Laid back work environment.
