What are the responsibilities and job description for the MECC Pre-K Teacher (3 Year Olds) - 2026/2027 position at Monett Early Childhood Center?
The Monett R-1 School District is accepting applications for a full time highly qualified Early Childhood PreKindergarten (3 year olds) teacher for the 2026-2027 school year. The ideal candidate will be energetic, student-centered and focused on developmentally appropriate practices. This position will utilize the Missouri Early Learning Standards and our district curricula to develop student success and whole child development. Previous training in LETRS for Early Childhood Educators and The Emerging Language and Literacy Curriculum (ELLC) is highly desirable.
Specific Job Responsibilities include:
- The ideal candidate will be a positive team player and collaborator
- Knowledgeable in developing lesson plans that provide engagement for our early learners
- Focused on positive communication with our families
- Instructionally focused on providing a classroom culture that accounts for many learning styles and students with specialized needs
- Utilizing data to guide instruction
- Missouri Early Childhood certification is required
