As part of its continued growth, the firm is seeking a Quantitative Fundamental Analyst to join its investment research team. Working alongside experienced portfolio managers, quantitative researchers and software engineers, you'll help build and refine fundamentally driven models, apply modern NLP and LLM techniques to corporate filings and financial statements, and contribute directly to the firm's research agenda. Key Responsibilities
- Research and develop quantitative strategies using company fundamentals and financial statement data
- Build and enhance alpha signals for systematic long/short equity portfolios
- Apply NLP and LLM techniques to analyse corporate filings and financial disclosures
- Collaborate closely with portfolio managers, quantitative researchers and developers on high-impact investment projects
- Evaluate new datasets, academic research and industry developments to identify new sources of alpha
- Help shape the firm's quantitative research platform through innovative, data-driven ideas
You will likely have:
- 2 years' experience in quantitative fundamental research or systematic investing
- Strong understanding of company financials, corporate filings and equity analysis
- Experience applying quantitative methods within an investment environment
- Strong Python and/or R programming skills
- An inquisitive mindset with a genuine passion for markets and investment research
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, Computer Science or a related discipline
