Our client, a leading global multi-strategy hedge fund, is looking to expand its New York-based commodities trade support function with a newly created hire.
Following a significant buildout of the US commodities investment desk, the firm is hiring a commodities trade support SME in New York. The role will face-off to a high performing investment team (hybrid TA remit), predominately covering power, gas & oil trading. Responsibilities include trade capture, lifecycle management, reconciliations, and a strong emphasis on process optimization and risk mitigation as the firm continues to scale its commodities platform.
Candidates should ideally have 2-5yrs experience in middle office or trade support, with a commodities specialism, more specifically Futures / Power / Natural gas where possible.
The role is projected to pay a $150k TC year one, with significant upside potential. It is possible to WFH 1 day a week.
