A fast-growing defense tech startup building wireless sensing technology needs a visual designer to support a scaling sales team. The product is technically complex — and the team needs someone who can translate that complexity into clean, compelling visuals that make customers immediately understand the value. You'll work closely with the growth team and engineers to build out a library of sales assets from the ground up.
Job Description:Design marketing and sales collateral: pitch decks, one-pagers, leave-behinds, and presentation assets
Create visuals that depict complex hardware/software workflows and real-world use case scenarios
Work reactively with the sales team on urgent asset requests as well as proactively building out a core asset library
Collaborate directly with engineers and growth team members to extract technical context and translate it into clear visuals
Iterate quickly in a fast-paced, in-person startup environment
Strong 2D illustration and graphic design skills; partial 3D a plus
Ability to visualize complex scenes involving both hardware and software interactions
Experience creating sales and marketing collateral — decks, one-pagers, diagrams, infographics
Comfortable working in a small, scrappy team environment where you own the output end to end
Startup or agency background preferred — someone used to wearing multiple hats and moving fast
Nice to Have
Experience with defense, govtech, or technical B2B industries
Motion design or animation skills
Familiarity with technical storytelling / translating engineering concepts for non-technical audiences
