Work Schedule: Monday - Wednesday , 7:00am - 3:00pm; Friday and Saturday, 6:00am - 2:00pm (not overtime eligible)

Duration: 6 Month Contract
Compensation Range: $25-30/hr W2

Job Description:
This role supports live classroom technology operations for a higher education program, serving as the on-site technical partner for faculty and ensuring a seamless virtual and in-person learning experience.
Job Summary
•Arrive on-site 15 minutes before each class session to power on, test, and verify all classroom technology is fully operational
•Serve as the primary technical point of contact for faculty, confirming readiness and addressing any pre-class questions or setup needs
•Monitor and operate room audio-visual systems throughout each session, including microphone management and virtual class connectivity
•Coordinate guest speaker connections and troubleshoot real-time issues such as audio, video, or platform access problems
•Escalate complex technical issues to the appropriate support teams when live troubleshooting cannot resolve the problem
•Maintain professionalism and composure during downtime between active support needs
Minimum Requirements:
•Prior experience in AV support, IT support, or a related technical role
•Familiarity with Zoom or similar video conferencing platforms in a classroom or corporate setting
•Working knowledge of Windows operating systems and common presentation tools such as PowerPoint and PDF formats
•Strong communication skills and ability to work directly with faculty or executive-level professionals
•Reliable punctuality and ability to communicate proactively when scheduling issues arise
•Demonstrated willingness to learn, accept constructive feedback, and build independence over time
Preferred Qualifications:
•Experience in higher education or corporate IT and AV environments
•Familiarity with Crestron control systems
•Comfort working in a structured schedule with periods of downtime between active support needs
