Overview
We are seeking a motivated and energetic Laborer to join our dynamic warehouse team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for supporting daily operations through heavy equipment operation, materials handling, and inventory management. Duties

• Operate heavy equipment such as forklifts, reach trucks, cranes, and pallet jacks to load, unload, and move materials efficiently and safely.
• Assist with inventory management by conducting stock counts, updating inventory control systems like RF scanners and AS400, and ensuring accurate record-keeping.
• Support shipping and receiving activities by preparing shipments, verifying orders via order picker tools or manual methods, and ensuring proper packaging for delivery.
• Perform stock stocking duties across the warehouse, ensuring products are stored correctly according to warehouse management system protocols.
• Handle materials with care during manufacturing or construction projects, including heavy lifting and mechanical tasks as needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment by adhering to OSHA safety standards and best practices for warehouse safety.
• Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to coordinate order picking, packing, and order fulfillment processes to meet customer deadlines.
• Load and unload trucks efficiently using appropriate equipment while following safety procedures for heavy equipment operation.
• Assist in shipping & receiving tasks by verifying incoming shipments against purchase orders and preparing outgoing shipments for dispatch.
• Support warehouse distribution activities through inventory control measures and regular audits to prevent stock discrepancies.

Qualifications

• Proven experience working in a warehouse environment with familiarity in inventory management, stocking, order picking & packing, shipping & receiving.
• Valid certification or experience operating forklifts, reach trucks, cranes, pallet jacks, and other heavy equipment required for safe handling of materials.
• Knowledge of warehouse management systems such as RF scanners or AS400 is highly desirable.
• Mechanical aptitude with the ability to operate heavy machinery safely and troubleshoot basic mechanical issues.
• Strong understanding of OSHA safety standards related to warehousing and construction environments.
• Ability to perform physical tasks including heavy lifting consistently throughout shifts.
• Experience with inventory control procedures including cycle counts and stock audits.
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail for accurate order fulfillment and record-keeping.
• Prior warehouse supervisor experience is a plus but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential.
