Territory Sales Manager

As a Territory Sales Manager, you will lead in-store sales execution and team performance across assigned grocery and retail accounts in your territory. You will manage a team of Merchandisers and Order Writers, drive product sales for iconic brands (Oreo, Ritz, Sour Patch Kids), and build strong relationships with store management.

Must-Have Qualifications:

• Location: Must live within 30–40 miles of the assigned territory

• Leadership Experience: Proven track record of people management, hiring, coaching, and managing a retail or field sales team.

• Industry Experience: Direct experience working in grocery or retail sales environments.

• Education & Basic Requirements: High School Diploma or GED, valid driver's license, 18 years old, and ability to lift up to 25 lbs. frequently (up to 50 lbs. occasionally).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Direct Store Delivery (DSD) sales experience.

• Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) industry experience.

• Ability to use sales data and inventory metrics to plan store strategy and uncover growth opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead & Develop People: Hire, train, schedule, and manage full-time and part-time Merchandisers and Order Writers to achieve maximum shelf impact.

• Drive Sales Results: Hit monthly and quarterly sales targets by executing merchandising programs and securing additional display space in stores.

• Account Management: Build strong working relationships with store managers and key decision-makers across your assigned retail accounts.

• Store Execution & Operations: Oversee product ordering, display setups, inventory levels, and unsaleables in partnership with Full-Time Order Writers (FTOWs).

• Data-Driven Strategy: Analyze territory sales data to tailor product displays and schedules based on local store demographics and volume.
