Sr. Account Executive, B2B Public Relations

A leading communications agency with clients spanning technology, healthcare, financial services, higher education, and the non-profit sector is seeking a Senior Account Executive, Public Relations & Communications. In this role, you’ll bring ideas to life through strategic storytelling, dynamic media relations, and integrated campaigns that elevate brand presence and reputation.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic PR and communications programs aligned with client objectives.
• Craft compelling written content, including press materials, thought leadership, and digital copy.
• Build strong relationships with media and influencers to secure impactful, high-quality coverage.
• Provide thoughtful counsel on messaging, positioning, and reputation management.
• Manage multiple client projects with creativity, precision, and accountability.
• Contribute to cross-functional collaboration, brainstorming, and new business initiatives.

The Ideal Candidate

• 4 years of experience in public relations, communications, or integrated marketing (agency experience preferred).
• Proven success in securing earned media coverage and managing multi-channel campaigns.
• Exceptional writing, editing, and presentation skills with an eye for detail and tone.
• Deep understanding of social and digital media and how they shape brand storytelling.
• Confident, proactive communicator who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
• Brings curiosity, enthusiasm, and strategic thinking to every project.

Title: Sr. Account Executive

Location: Boston, NYC, DC

Workplace Type: Hybrid (3 days a week)

Salary: $75,000-$85,000
