A leading technology-driven financial services company is seeking a Director of Financial and Enterprise Communications to oversee critical communications initiatives, elevate executive visibility, and drive compelling storytelling across key audiences. Partnering closely with senior leadership, you’ll steer financial communications, manage corporate milestones, and support enterprise-wide messaging with precision and impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead communications strategy for major financial milestones, including quarterly earnings, M&A announcements, Investor Days, and related events.
- Develop, lead, and execute a comprehensive thought-leadership platform for the CFO across internal and external channels.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with financial, industry, trade, and general business media.
- Create communications plans, media strategies, and press materials to shape the company’s narrative among investors, analysts, and financial press.
- Secure speaking engagements and media opportunities to elevate C-suite visibility and strengthen executive thought leadership.
- Support enterprise communications across non-revenue functions, corporate initiatives, and special projects.
- Play a key role in issues and crisis communications, ensuring timely, transparent, and effective messaging during sensitive situations.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with internal and external partners to drive alignment and deliver clear, consistent communications.
The Ideal Candidate
- Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, marketing, finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 6 years' experience supporting public companies through financial communications or public campaigns (agency or in-house).
- Strong understanding of financial communications strategies and the ability to integrate digital and social channels.
- Exceptional ability to translate complex concepts into clear, concise, and compelling narratives.
- Highly organized project manager who thrives in fast-moving environments and consistently meets deadlines.
- Motivated self-starter with a roll-up-your-sleeves mentality and the ability to take initiative while collaborating effectively.
- Skilled at navigating large organizations and driving cross-functional alignment.
- Strong media-handling skills and strong experience engaging financial and business press.
- Creative, strategic thinker with exceptional judgment and problem-solving abilities.
- Superior written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
