What are the responsibilities and job description for the IT Services Team Lead position at monday.com?
We're looking for an IT Services Team Lead to join our AMER IT Services team. This role is about people leadership first — you'll manage a small team, drive their growth, and ensure the site runs at a high standard day-to-day.
What you'll do:
We care a lot more about how you lead people and handle ambiguity than whether you know a specific tool. If you've built a team, grown junior people, and kept operations running under pressure — we want to talk.
The estimated annual base salary range for this role is $118,600 – $153,800. Actual compensation will be determined based on factors including education, training, experience, business needs, and work location. In addition to base salary, employees are eligible for either an annual discretionary bonus or a role-based, sales incentive plan. Certain roles may also include equity in the form of RSUs. Full compensation details, including any applicable bonus or incentive plan, will be provided in the hiring process.
monday.com offers a competitive benefits package, including comprehensive medical/dental/vision insurance, generous paid time off (vacation, holidays, personal leave and sick leave), fully paid parental leave, automatic 401(k) contributions, the opportunity to purchase company stock at a discount (ESPP), and more. Full benefits details are available upon request. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis with no set deadline.
Compensation Range: $118.6K - $153.8K
What you'll do:
- Lead and develop the AMER IT Services team — own 1:1s, performance, growth, and retention
- Manage day-to-day IT operations across the NY site: ticket queue, SLAs, onboarding/offboarding, events, and AV
- Manage and support remote sites without on-site IT presence — ensuring coverage and service continuity from a distance
- Be the point of contact for site-level IT needs — vendors, facilities coordination, escalations
- Partner with global IT leadership to align on priorities, standards, and cross-regional projects
- Identify gaps and drive improvements in processes, coverage, and team structure
- Own the site budget and report on spend and initiatives
- 2 years leading an IT Services team or managing people in a technical environment
- 5 years in IT support or operations (macOS, Google Workspace, ticketing systems)
- Strong communication skills — you're comfortable talking to execs and engineers alike
- Someone who takes ownership, flags problems early, and doesn't need to be chased
- Experience managing or supporting remote or unstaffed sites is an advantage
- Experience with A/V and event support is an advantage
- Okta, MDM, or endpoint management experience is an advantage
