While accountable for the integrity, efficiency, and consistency of all store operations, the Operations Manager is also a visible floor leader, actively engaging with clients, supporting selling teams, and contributing directly to business results.
Operating in one of Moncler’s most demanding and seasonal luxury markets, the Operations Manager reports directly to the Senior Store Manager and ensures that operational discipline enables — rather than limits — exceptional service, sales growth, and brand elevation.

For individuals assigned and/or hired to work in Aspen, Colorado, Moncler includes a reasonable estimate of the salary range for this role. This considers the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to business or organizational needs, skill sets, experience and training, licensure, and certifications. A reasonable estimate of the current base salary range is $100,000 to $115,000 per year.
In addition to competitive pay, the hired candidate will also be eligible for a quarterly bonus, and a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, short and long-term disability, paid parental leave, 7 paid holidays, accrue up to 80 hours of paid vacation time, 4 personal days, employee discounts, and a retirement plan with employer contribution.

Your Impact
Operational & Business Leadership
- Own and oversee end-to-end operational execution across both Aspen locations, ensuring consistency, efficiency, and compliance with Moncler standards.
- Act as the operational authority for scheduling, inventory management, cash controls, shipping/receiving, and asset protection.
- Anticipate and proactively plan for seasonal peaks, events, and high-volume periods to ensure operational readiness.
- Ensure all operational processes support a seamless, elevated client journey.
- Serve as a visible leader on the sales floor, actively engaging with clients during peak business hours and Client Experience Management (CEM) segments.
- Support selling teams by removing operational barriers and stepping in to assist with client engagement, escalations, and service recovery when needed.
- Lead by example in delivering personalized client experiences aligned with Moncler’s luxury and performance DNA.
- Partner with Store Leadership to analyze sales, productivity, and client KPIs (conversion, UPT, CRM capture, repurchase) and translate insights into operational and commercial action.
- Own inventory accuracy, flow, and optimization across both stores.
- Ensure product is positioned at the right place, at the right time, supporting both commercial needs and client expectations.
- Partner with regional teams on transfers, replenishment, sell-through strategies, and inventory risk mitigation.
- Maintain impeccably organized, efficient, and brand-aligned back-of-house environments.
- Recruit, onboard, coach, and develop operational talent across both locations.
- Lead with clarity, consistency, and professionalism, fostering accountability and engagement.
- Conduct regular touchpoints, feedback conversations, and development planning for direct reports.
- Support succession planning and internal mobility, contributing to long-term talent pipelines.
- Collaborate closely with HR and Field Training to ensure compliance, capability building, and performance management.
- Act as a trusted partner to Store Leadership, Regional Operations, HR, Merchandising, and Asset Protection.
- Ensure flawless execution of company initiatives, systems, and tools (e.g., RFID, CRM, CEM, training programs)
- Support store openings, activations, special events, and strategic projects as required.
- Serve as a culture carrier and brand ambassador, modeling Moncler’s values, professionalism, and attention to detail.
- Uphold the highest standards of operational discipline, ethics, and compliance.
- Lead by example in professionalism, client focus, and teamwork across both stores
- Perform as a team player and participate in all activities contributing to the overall objectives of the stores and region.

- Bachelor’s Degree preferred or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 5 years of progressive retail experience, with at least 2-3 years in an operational or multi-functional leadership role.
- Prior experience in luxury retail is strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated success managing complex operations in high-volume or seasonal environments.
- Proven ability to support commercial performance through operational leadership and floor presence
- Strong operational acumen with a commercial mindset.
- Ability to balance behind-the-scenes execution with front-of-house leadership.
- Client-centric approach with confidence engaging directly with high-end clientele.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Polished communication style and professional presence.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, POS, CRM, and inventory management systems.
