We are seeking horse caretakers to join our team. The ideal candidate will love horses and take joy in the day to day farm work. The position of feeder/stall cleaner offers the opportunity to learn about horses and their care. Come learn about these intelligent animals!
Responsibilities
- Feeding horses
- Cleaning stalls and turnouts
- Turn horses in/out
- Maintain cleanliness of barn
- Monitor health/behaviors of herd
Skills
- Experience with equine care preferred, not required
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in all kinds of weather
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as a team
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 4 hour shift
- Afternoon shift
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift
- Weekends as needed
Work Location: In person
