Responsibilities
- Perform tree trimming, pruning, and removal
- Operate and maintain a variety of tools and machinery including pruning saws, chainsaws, and chippers
- Communicate effectively with other team members and management
- Work from the ground using handsaws and pole saws
- Advanced Chainsaw
- Aerial Rescue Training
- Advanced Climbing
- CPR/First Aid Certificate holder
- CDL-A/B helpful, depending on what’s necessary for the job
- Keep work area clean and orderly
- Perform related work as assigned
Job Requirements
- Experience in tree trimming and pruning
- Ability to operate a variety of equipment and machinery
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Ability to lift heavy objects and work in a physically demanding environment
- Valid drivers license and reliable transportation
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
- Willingness to work at heights and in challenging weather conditions
- Climbing experience
Additional experiences of benefit, including but not limited to:
- Certified Arborist
- Commercial Pesticide Applicator License
- CDL A License or ability to obtain one
- Applicants with a background in landscape maintenance and lawn care are encouraged to apply. We are willing to train the right person and assist with the cost of CDL licensure.
