What are the responsibilities and job description for the Resident Transport Driver position at Monarch Skilled Nursing and Rehab?
We are seeking a dedicated Bus Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting passengers to and from doctor's appointments, shopping appointments and other community organizations. STNAs welcome to apply!
Duties:
- Safely operate a bus following a set route and schedule
- Ensure the safety of passengers during transit
- Communicate effectively with passengers and provide excellent customer service
- Maintain a clean and organized bus interior
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the bus
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations
Experience:
- Commercial driving experience preferred
- Ability to communicate effectively with passengers
- Experience working with geriatric patients or in geriatric settings
- Strong behavior management skills
- Ability to educate and write reports as needed
