Position Summary
Provides cleaning and janitorial services for an assigned building Monday - Friday 9 AM - 5 PM with additional weekend hours as needed for floor refinishing.
Essential Responsibilities
Daily Responsibilities
- Empty waste and recycling containers throughout the building.
- Transport trash to designated dumpster locations.
- Sweep, vacuum, and mop floors throughout classrooms, offices, hallways, kitchens, and common areas.
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, including toilets, sinks, mirrors, partitions, and fixtures.
- Refill restroom supplies, including soap, paper towels, and toilet paper.
- Clean interior glass and entrance doors.
- Disinfect high-touch surfaces including door handles, railings, and switches.
- Secure windows and exterior doors at the end of each shift.
- Turn off lights and arm the security alarm before leaving.
Weekly Responsibilities
- Monitor cleaning supply inventory.
- Submit supply requests to the Operations Manager as needed.
Periodic Responsibilities
- Perform deep cleaning of classrooms, offices, staff rooms, and common areas.
- Wash walls, cabinets, woodwork, vents, and remove cobwebs.
- Strip, wax, and refinish tile floors on a rotating schedule.
- Assist with special cleaning projects as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum one year of custodial, janitorial, or commercial cleaning experience.
- Experience operating floor care equipment and performing floor refinishing preferred.
- Valid driver's license.
- Acceptable driving record.
- Ability to successfully complete required background checks.

Physical Requirements
