Role Description
This is a part-time role for a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner at Monarch Psychiatric NP PLLC. As a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, you will be responsible for providing mental health nursing care, conducting psychiatric evaluations, prescribing medications, and delivering psychotherapy services. The role may require in-person visits for the purposes of prescribing controlled substances per federal and state laws.
Qualifications
- Nurse Practitioners with specialization in mental health
- Experience in mental health care and psychiatric care
- Strong nursing skills and knowledge
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to provide comprehensive, patient-centered care
- Empathy, compassion, and sensitivity to patients' needs
- Active and good standing NY State Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner license
- Additional certifications in psychiatric nursing or mental health counseling are a plus
- NY DEA license
- ANCC Board-certified certification
- Minimum 2 years of experience, at least 3600 hours in specialty
- Must live in NY, FL, or PR
Shift
- Weeknights, flexible, between 4-9pm
- Saturdays, flexible, 8am-1pm
