We are looking for a Maintenance Shop Assistant to perform general maintenance tasks which may include but are not limited to:
SAFETY AND COMPLIANCE
We prioritize the safety and wellness of our road construction processes by following the Company’s safety programs and policies, thus mitigating risk and improving overall productivity of the projects with safety at the forefront.

Position Summary
We are looking for a Maintenance Shop Assistant to perform general maintenance tasks which may include but are not limited to:
- Shop upkeep and site maintenance
- Snow/Ice removal
- Conduct oil changes
- Assist Mechanics with repairs
- Pick up and deliver parts to Monarch Shop or jobsite
- Inventory, sort and organize parts and supplies
- Operating forklift
- Other tasks as needed

- Must be at least 18 years old
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- Able to obtain Fed Med Card and CDL
- Physically fit to perform the job functions including the ability to stand, squat, bend, lift, and walk for long durations
- Able to communicate effectively
- Ability to listen and take direction
- Willingness to be a team player but also able to work independently
